Koetzer named Captain, and Gauchan Vice Captain for Pokhara Rhinos

Pokhara Rhinos have announced their decision to name Scottish national Kyle Coetzer as their team captain for TVS EPL 2018, and veteran bowler Shakti Gauchan as their vice captain. Coetzer, under whose captaincy has led Scotland to win many laurels, has proved his ability to lead a team under tested conditions. Kyle was also named one of the ten players to watch ahead of the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers by the International Cricket Council. Kyle, an all rounder is a right handed batsman and bowls right-arm medium.

Shakti Gauchan, a veteran bowler and a national legend, has been named the vice-captain of the team. He is also the marquee player of the Pokhara Rhinos, and will be his second year with the Pokhara Rhinos. A key figure in the development of cricket in Nepal, and assisting the nation win several matches abroad, Shakti Gauchan is Nepal's first cricketer to score a century in an international game. A highly skilled player, his bowling is highly admired by the national and international cricketers.
The announcement has been made three days ahead of the tournament as all teams gear up for the highly exciting TVS EPL 2018. Six teams representing various cities of Nepal will be contesting in a highly competitive tournament in Kirtipur, Kathmandu. Pokhara Rhinos will be playing their first against Bhairawaha Gladiators on 9th December, 2018.
